Introduction Through the years small business have contributed significantly to employment generation, to improve the economy and production in the countries North, Central and South Americas and the Caribbean.
The microenterprise offers the possibility that low-income families can better their income. The community of San Salvador has a great potential to be the birthplace of micro-worm compost enterprise, as well as possessing a large expanse of fertile soil, which can benefit from this fertilizer, has many people engaged in horticulture. In addition to the community of San Salvador, there are a large percentage of families that generate newspaper, which is the raw material of worm compost.
Problem
In the community of San Salvador there is the absence of microenterprise, including that of worm compost, although there is a large percentage of a person interested in helping to recycle.
For these reasons and more we propose the creation of small business in the community of San Salvador to help their sustainability and increase the recycling rate.
Objectives
-Expanding economic opportunities in the community of San Salvador through sustainable development and dynamic small business, with the help of the municipality.
-Promote the implementation of micro-worm compost enterprise.
-Provide training to community members to acquire the knowledge necessary to establish its small business.
-Acquire municipal funds to support the development of small business.
Hypothesis
The small business of worm compost in the community of San Salvador is a real and viable alternative for better social, economic and ecological communities.

Training Another important part in the project is the training of the people in the community for this purpose a workshop of the worm compost took place on June 30, 2008, which attended about 28 people of the community and managers of the committee of San Salvador.
This workshop was developed and offered by the following members of geoexplores under the supervision of Professor Luz Stella Betancourt:Taryn Cruz, Carlos Cruz,Groriann Diaz, Eframir Franco Jennfier Cruz, Efrain Alejandro, Eliu Alejandro
Municipal containers for Recycling For this method we would like to ask the municipal agency of Caguas, one hundred (100) containers for recycling because this community counts with 730 houses who would like to recycle.
