Summary
MIDS provides a wireless, jam-resistant and secure information system for
TACAN, Link-16/J-Voice, and other JTRS Waveforms to Airborne, Ground, and
Maritime Warfighting Platforms
MIDS-LVT with Link-16 is the COCOM Airborne Tactical Backbone for Joint
and Coalition Warfare Situation Awareness, and will be for years
MIDS-LVT currently has over 7,800 terminals on contract
MIDS JTRS includes all MIDS-LVT capabilities, plus Link-16 Enhanced
Throughput (ET), Frequency Remapping (FR), and GROWTH.
MIDS JTRS Core Terminal will IOC in CY 2011
MIDS JTRS can provide the solution set for the JAN-TE Requirement
MIDS Supports All Service and Coalition Warfighters
