Concept Description
e client wanted bright vivid colors and an outline of Michigan. Keeping in mind the client’s wishes, I incorporated a stylized outline of Michigan and used a bright complementary colorpalette. I used blue and maize, colors associated with University of Michigan and consequently, thestate of Michigan. e contrasting colors also provide legibility for the text. I also used a sun as thebackground for the state outline to give an optimistic and bright feel to the logo.
is logo is a combination of the original three options and was created based on classmate feedback.e general consensus was that the first logo was clean and readily legible, the second logo had a goodtexture of the map outline. I combined the typography of the first logo with the map texture of thesecond, and incorporated the optimistic feeling of the third logo.
