Memory Population For the system to function, DIMM modules must be installed following the slot sequence listed below.
DIMM module of the same type, size and manufacturer must be installed in the same colored DIMM slots.
GT310 F1 platform has six DIMM slots in two memory channels that support two UDIMM modules or three RDIMM modules per channel. Depending on the type of processor installed, the system can support up to six RDIMM modules for Intel® Xeon® 3400 series or L3426 processor, or four UDIMM modules for Intel Xeon X3400 series, L3426, Intel® Core™ i3 series, Intel® Pentium® or L3406 processor. Detail memory population guideline is shown in the table below.
