1st , 2nd, and 3rd 3rd, 4th, and 5th
Fact Fluency Practice and Grading• 1st – 5th have independent progress monitoring in
classroom• “Fact Checks” used throughout grading period as
formative assessment (timing gives students practice and provides teacher with instructional needs – timed UP)
• Student monitor progress on personal fact graph.• 2nd – 5th have ONE timed assessment at the end of the
grading period (ONE DAILY GRADE)• 1 minute and 30 seconds per set of 25 facts
(Automaticity is demonstrated by recalling a fact in less than 3 seconds.)
