nancial activities of a mid-size construction firm. The Com-pany has over 35 successful years of general contractingand construction management experience and is currentlyin a controlled growth mode. The Company’s stability,management style, environment and successful record ofbuilding projects enabled the Company with employee re-tention and growth with many employees with tenures inexcess of 20 years.
The position’s responsibilities include banking relation-ships, cash flow analysis, balance sheet and income state-ment analysis including percentage of completion, over-sight of the payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receiv-able functions, cost code accounting, fixed asset deprecia-tion, and government compliance and filings and otherCFO/Controller duties including cost savings analysis andassisting external auditors. The position reports directly tothe Company President and Vice-Presidents. The individu-al should be detail oriented, highly organized and experi-enced in departmental management. A minimum of fiveyears experience in management accounting in theconstruction/real estate industry and a bachelor’s degreeis required. Licensed CPA/CCIFP status is desired.
