BACKGROUND
Increasing number of workplace accidents over the years makes
safety as the key issue to be discussed. Recognizing the importance
of safety, health and environment in the workplace, UMP in collabo-
ration with AKEPT and MYSHO will organize The 2nd Seminar on
Developing and Sustaining Safety Culture in Malaysia (DSSCM II).
DSSCM II is a continuation of DSSCM I intended to develop a safe
work culture in the workplace for the survival of future generation.
To create opportunities of interaction between experts and OSH
community in industry.
To highlight the importance of research on OSH in order to
reduce the risk of hazards in a workplace.
To discuss the issue on safety related to human behavior and
action.
To discuss the new direction of policy, leadership and manage-
ment of OSH at national and global level.
To empower the safety culture in the workplace.
