Club Day is this Month! We encourage you to prepare your
presentations a few times at home and maybe for a friend or neighbor to
help get you more comfortable before the big day! Please see additional
pages in this newsletter for the schedule. We would appreciate if
everyone could come at least 15 minutes prior to their time just in case a
room is running ahead. If you are not there for your turn, we will let the
next person waiting go. Please Notify the office you have any scratches
prior to Club Day. Following Club Day, the top individuals in each eligible
area can compete at Regional Club Day on March 7th in Dodge City. The
top individuals will be notified the morning after Club Day to see if they
would like to participate. If one of the top individuals declines an
alternate will be pulled up. Alternate’s will be notified as necessary. We
expecting a great turn out and a fun time!
Room Monitor Responsibilities:
Prop door open when judging is not taking place & keep close
door during judging.
Announce 4-Her to be judged prior to start, this will help the
judge make sure they are on the right score sheet.
Update list posted outside of door with any changes (cross
through scratches and completed items).
Update Agents and/or Judges as necessary (tell judge of any
scratches).
You may post ribbon colors to the list by the door if the judge is
willing to give you results. Some judges wait until the end to
score contestants.
Help 4-Hers set up and tear down if they need help.

The optional instructor-led YQCA session will take place at the conclusion of each junior producer day. These YQCA classes will count for the Local Quality Counts classes that are required for the county fair! Junior Beef Producer Day is scheduled for Saturday, February 29.
