What is Fast Forword?

• Computer Program that focuses on Rapidly building receptive and expressive language skills.

How was Fast Forword Developed?

• Scientists conducted studies that compared the brain of children with normal reading to those with reading difficulty.

• They noticed differences in brain structure.

• They concluded that certain brain capabilities are essential for learning.

• This program was designed to exercise certain brain structures which would allow children to learn more efficiently.

Why Does Fast Forward Work?

• Works to repair the root of the problem…not the symptoms.

• Works to retrain the brain’s ability to correspond to stimulus.

• Increases brain’s processing speed by conditioning change through:

1. Frequency

2. Intensity

3. Adaptivity

• Uses computer games & Activities

• 90 minutes a day

• 5 days a week

• 4 - 8 weeks
