Kindergarten are settled and busily enjoying the routines of school. They have attended Assembly and played NRL skills games successfully. Today, they met the Guide Dog Marvel at our whole school Assembly and listened as Mrs Jacques explained what work Marvel will do when he has been fully trained. Please download the See-Saw App so you will have access to class photos of achievements, class work and excursions. Thank you Mr Needs and Mr Barnes who have worked tirelessly to maintain our grounds and in particular the back oval which looks magnificent. We are so fortunate to have such fabulous facilities for our students as many schools don’t have generous play areas and certainly, at the current time, green ovals! Every year we celebrate Levi’s Lunch to remember a student who loved to learn, loved to cook and loved his family and school. Please ensure that you read what special lunch we are doing this year in this newsletter, to celebrate a special young man. See information below.

All Year 3-6 students have begun the N.S.W. Premier’s Reading Challenge for 2020 and have now commenced their reading.
Their goal is to read 20 books completing the task by August 2020.
As they borrow they record these titles in their Library books. When they reach 20 books we will add them to the on-line website during Library.
We hope that you encourage your child to complete this challenge as it is an important part of their Literacy Curriculum.
