IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons by always
following the basic precautions including, but not limited to those listed below:
1) READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS HEATER.
2) Retain all your unit’s packaging.
3) For your records, staple or attach your original sales receipt to this owner's guide. Please write
your Tri-Flo Heater model and serial numbers (located on product spec decal) on the last page of
this manual.
4) Register your product for warranty at www.tri-flo.com.
5) This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If
provided, use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible and flammable materials
such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.91 meters)
from all sides of the heater.
6) Exercise extreme caution when using any heater by or near people or animals.
7) When not in use for long periods, always power down your heater and unplug.
8) Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or if the heater malfunctions or
received damage in any manner. Do not put any undue stress on the power cord. Return heater
to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
9) Never locate a heater near a bathtub or other areas that may contain standing water.
10) Do not use outdoors.
11) Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation, exhaust, or fan opening as this
may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater and or property.
12) Use caution when transporting the heater; do not drop as it can cause physical harm; watch the
point on the front of the heater as it can nick surfaces it meets.
13) Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cords with throw rugs, runners, or similar
coverings. Do not route cords under furniture or appliances. Arrange the cord away from traffic
areas and where it may be tripped over.
14) Pay attention to where the heater is placed in the room to avoid tripping over it.
15) Always plug heater directly into a wall outlet/receptacle that are properly grounded. Only use
extension cords that are rated for high temperature use 158°F (70°C) and meet the
voltage/amperage requirements for this specific unit.
16) Colorado Tri-Flo intends that this heater operate on a bulb thermostat up to 155°F (68.3°C). The
heater is equipped with a bulb thermostat that is rated to 155°F (68.3°C) Further, the warranty
only applies for operation at or below 155°F (68.3°C).
17) To disconnect the heater, turn control knob to off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
18) To prevent possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft
surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
19) A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use in areas where gasoline, paint,
or flammable liquids are used or stored.

20) This heater contains no user serviceable parts. DO NOT OPEN THE HEATER. Doing so can cause
physical harm. If the heater is opened the warranty is voided. Return heater to authorized
service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
21) Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by Colorado
Tri-Flo may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
22) SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
NO USER-SERVICABLE PARTS ARE INSIDE THE UNIT. DO NOT OPEN THE HEATER. REFER ALL REPAIRS
TO AN AUTHORIZED SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE AT COLORADO TRI-FLO SYSTEMS, LLC.
Operating Instructions
This is a free standing heater. It requires 3 feet (0.91 meters) of clearance around all its sides. Your unit
is shipped as a corded unit. When used as configured (corded) out of the box, its portability allows you
to move the heater from one location to another.
Wiring
In accordance with ANSI/NFPA 70, the ER10000W.01 240V heater unit comes with a 7 foot cord and
plug. The plug must use an outlet capable of carrying 240 volts, 10,000 watts, and 50 amperes.
Maintenance
Keep small objects from entering the unit.
When not in use for long periods the heater may collect dust on it and in it. Wipe down the outside shell
with a damp cloth and if possible use compressed air to blow out the inside.
Make sure unit is unplugged and cool before preforming any maintenance.
Controls
The heating unit has a bulb thermostat dial mounted on the unit.

Installation Instructions
1. Inspect for any damage to heater and electric cord.
2. Set the heater in a location of use ensuring that there is a minimum clearance of 3 feet (.91
meters) from all walls, the ceiling, and other objects.
3. For this heater you must use an outlet capable of carrying 240 volts, 10,000 watts, and 50
amperes.
4. Turn the dial to the “High” position.
5. Frequently monitor the room temperature.
6. When done, turn off by turning the dial to the “Off’ position.
7. Unplug the heater.
“CAUTION – High temperature, risk of fire, keep electrical cords, drapery, Furnishings and other combustibles at least 3 feet (0.91 m) from the front of the heater and away from the side and rear.” “To reduce the risk of fire, do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of the heater.”

Authorization Form. Please have your Tri- Flo Heater model number and serial number handy. After
receiving your Return Authorization Form, use your retained packaging to ship your heating unit, with

INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES
Siempre que use aparatos eléctricos, reduzca el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica y daño a las
personas siguiendo las precauciones básicas, incluidas, entre otras, las que se mencionan a
continuación:
1) LEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR EL CALENTADOR.

3) Guárdese el recibo original de compra y grápelo o adjúntelo a esta guía del usuario. Escriba los
números de modelo y de serie de su calentador de Tri-Flo (que se encuentran en la calcomanía

4) Registre su producto en www.tri-flo.com para obtener la garantía.
5) Este calentador se calienta al usarlo. Para evitar quemaduras, no deje que la piel entre en
contacto directo con las superficies calientes. Si se incluyen mangos, úselos para mover el
calentador. Mantenga los materiales combustibles e inflamables, tales como muebles,
almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles, ropa y cortinas por lo menos a 0,91 metros de distancia de
cada lado del calentador.
6) Sea extremadamente precavido cuando use cualquier calentador al lado o cerca de personas o

10) No lo use al aire libre.
11) No inserte ni permita la entrada de objetos extraños en la ventilación, escape o abertura del
ventilador, ya que esto podría causar una descarga eléctrica, incendio o dañar el calentador o la
propiedad.
12) Sea precavido al transportar el calentador; no lo deje caer ya que podría causarle daño físico;
tenga cuidado con la punta de la parte delantera del calentador, ya que podría cortar o dejar
muescas en las superficies que toque.
13) No coloque los cables debajo de alfombras. No cubra los cables con alfombras de ningún tipo o
cosas por el estilo. No pase los cables por debajo de los muebles o electrodomésticos. Coloque
los cables fuera de áreas transitadas o de donde alguien pudiera tropezarse.
14) Preste atención a dónde está ubicado el calentador en la habitación para evitar tropezarse.
15) Siempre enchufe el calentador directamente a un tomacorriente o enchufe de pared que tenga
una conexión a tierra adecuada. Solo use alargadores que estén preparados para temperaturas
altas de 70 °C y que cumplan los requisitos de voltaje o amperaje para esta unidad específica.
16) Colorado Tri-Flo diseñó este calentador para funcionar con un termostato de bulbo hasta
68,3 °C. El calentador está equipado con un termostato de bulbo que está preparado para

temperaturas máximas de 68,3 °C. De hecho, la garantía solo se aplica en casos de uso a una
temperatura de 68,3 °C o inferior.
17) Para desconectar el calentador, gire el botón de control a la posición off (apagado) y
desenchúfelo.
18) Para prevenir un posible incendio, no bloquee de ninguna manera las entradas o salidas de aire.
No lo utilice sobre superficies blandas, como la cama, donde se podrían bloquear los orificios.
19) Un calentador contiene en su interior partes calientes que pueden producir descargas eléctricas
o echar chispas. No lo utilice en áreas en donde se usen o almacenen gasolina, pintura o líquidos
inflamables.
20) Este calentador no contiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas por el usuario. NO ABRA EL
CALENTADOR. Si lo hiciera, podría sufrir daños físicos. Si se abre el calentador, la garantía queda
sin validez. Devuelva el calentador a un centro de servicio autorizado para su revisión, arreglo
eléctrico o mecánico o reparación.
21) Use el calentador del modo en que se describe en este manual. Cualquier otro uso no
recomendado por Colorado Tri-Flo podría causar incendio, descarga eléctrica o daño a las
personas.
22) GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES.
LA UNIDAD NO CONTIENE NINGUNA PIEZA QUE PUEDA SER REPARADA POR EL USUARIO. NO ABRA EL
CALENTADOR. PARA CUALQUIER REPARACIÓN, PÓNGASE EN CONTACTO CON UN REPRESENTANTE DE

Instrucciones de uso
Este calentador es una unidad independiente. Necesita tener un espacio libre de 0,91 metros por todos
los lados. La unidad viene con cable incluido. Cuando se usa tal y como viene configurada de fábrica (con
cable), su portabilidad le permite mover el calentador de un lugar a otro.
Cableado
La unidad del calentador ER10000-I.01 240V viene con un cable de 2,13 metros y enchufe. Se debe
enchufar en un tomacorriente que use 240 voltios, 10.000 vatios y 50 amperios.
Mantenimiento
Evite que entren objetos pequeños en la unidad.
Cuando no se usa por períodos largos, el calentador puede acumular polvo por dentro y por fuera.
Pásele un paño húmedo por fuera y, si fuera posible, use aire comprimido para limpiarlo por dentro.
Asegúrese de que la unidad está desenchufada y fría antes de hacer cualquier tipo de mantenimiento.
Controles
El calentador tiene un botón del termostato bulbo ensamblado en la unidad.

Instrucciones de instalación
1. Inspeccione el calentador y el cable eléctrico para detectar cualquier daño.
2. Para usarlo, coloque el calentador en un lugar donde tenga un mínimo de 0,91 metros de
espacio desde las paredes, el techo y demás objetos.
3. Para este calentador, debe usar un tomacorriente que soporte 240 voltios, 10.000 vatios y 50
amperios.
4. Gire el botón a la posición "H - high" (máximo).
5. Controle con frecuencia la temperatura de la habitación.
6. Cuando haya terminado, apáguelo girando el botón a la posición "Off" (apagado).
7. Desenchufe el calentador.
“PRECAUCIÓN: Temperatura alta, riesgo de incendio, mantenga los cables eléctricos, cortinas, mobiliario y cualquier otro material inflamable al menos a 0,91 metros de distancia de la parte delantera del calentador, de los lados y de la parte de atrás". “Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, no almacene ni use gasolina u otros gases o líquidos inflamables cerca del calentador".

Para garantizar una tramitación adecuada, en la parte de afuera de la caja debe leerse con claridad el
número de Autorización de devolución.
