As a PR/showroom intern I was responsible for completing many tasks onadailybasis.Directlytotherightisanexampleofanoutforpresssheetthat I completed for Redbook Magazine. Pictured below are all the items I pulled for the shoot.
I also created email blasts for our designers that featured their latest press and best selling items. These emails were sent to buyers, magazine editors, and active accounts.
I was also responsible for the show-rooms Facebook and would generate daily posts featuring our designers items. The screenshot to the right is anexampleofoneofmyposts.
The photo to the left is of a visit from a blogger and stylist from theHuffingtonPost.Iassistedinchoosing items for her upcoming posts and introduced her to all of our designers lines.
The photo to the right is from the editor event held at the showroom.I set up all of our designers line sheets so that each editor could take a copy with them, and took diligent notes as to what the editors comments were.

TATT Consulting Internship
DuringmyinternshipasaconsultantI was given many responsibilities. The photo to the left was taken during a sourcing meeting with Global Leather, for our designer Brynas new line.
I was often given the task of merchandising the showroom. The photo aboveisofmeandthemerchandisingIcompletedforPaolaDangondsline before an editorial event.
While interning I worked very closely with our designers. The photo to the right is of me working with Marie Be-rard, the designer behind Soltek. She and I collaborated to re-create one of my vintage bags.

Study AbroadFashion MarketingWhile studying in Milan I completed a course in fashion marketing. For the proj-ect we worked with a design student to build their brand and planned a fashion showforF/W2013.Thefirststepintheprocesswasdevelopingthelinethroughsketchesandtextileselection,thisisdisplayedabove.Secondlywecreatedsocialmedia outlets, below is the Facebook cover-photo for menswear designer Sheycha Dem.TheQRcodeleadstoapromotionalvideowecreated.
Study AbroadStylingI also took a course in styling while in Milan. One project focused on our interpretation of the contemporary baroque trend.
Finally we crafted two types of invitations fortheshow.Thelargewoodenboxwassigned by Sheycha and contained a paper invitation with a handkerchief made of thesametextilesusedinhercollection.Thesmallerboxcontainedsimpletissuesand a smaller version of the paper invita-tion.
The slide to the left consists of items that I purchased and styled for a photo shoot to reinforce my interpretation of the trend.

The images above are of our two-piece hang-tag, and interactive shopping bag with a spinning display and feather tissues.
In addition to packaging we created twodifferentmagazineads.Thefirston the right is a promotional ad. Our feather logo is actually a removable sticker that the consumer could take a photo with to receive a discount. TheQRcodeinthemiddleoftheadleads the user to our promotional video on YouTube.
The second ad is also interactive for the customer. We provided a paper doll with clothing that would be sold in the store, as well as a diverse selec-tion of activities for them to choose from.

For this project, my group had to analyze a fabric and choose an end use for it. We then preformed multiple fabric tests to see if it would be an appropriate fabric to use for the garment. In addition to performing many of the tests, I was responsible for creating the technical data sheet.

Threads Production & PromotionFor the 15th annual show I was a member of the communications team. I aided in the creation of the program, website, and all running operations of the show. Including controlling all visual aids throughout the show from the sound booth. I was also responsible for organizing photoshoots for the program, website, and day of the show. To the right is the cover of the program which was created using Photoshop, Illustrator,andInDesign.Itconveysanart deco theme, that coincides with the showsthemeofLights,Camera,Fashion.

Fashion Buying
The 6-month plan aids in determining how much merchandise the buyer is go-ing to need for a given time. It is essential when making purchases and for buy-ing the right amount. After the 6-month period, these numbers are calculated and compared to last years numbers. This helps the buyer, because it forecasts plans,sales,andmerchandisingtohelpprovidethecorrectprofitrangeforthecompany.

January 31, 2013 Dear Future Employer I have been asked by Elizabeth Bosco to write a letter of recommendation for her portfolio and it is my pleasure to do so. I write this recommendation based on my four year association with Elizabeth and speak to Elizabeths work as a student as well as on a personal level. Over the years I have been most impressed with Elizabeths intelligence, enthusiasm and professional drive which have helped her to achieve an overall GPA of 3.5/4.0. In all areas, Elizabeth Bosco is truly an outstanding student! Elizabeth Bosco is a mature, honest, hard working, dedicated individual with a true desire to learn and who is extremely dedicated to her field of study. Elizabeth is able to synthesize information from a wide variety of liberal arts and humanity disciplines and to apply it to her major area of study. She is a very creative thinker, and as a result, is able to solve problems without guidance. Her insightful questions and responses have initiated discussions that have benefitted all the students in her classes.
