Educators On Stage -‐ With Power,Passion & Personality
Project Objec<ve
This project looks at the new role of lecturers. The role of teaching, coaching, mentoring and sparring with students whose energies, crea<vity and passion need to be mobilized to create changes needed in a highly compe<<ve, complex and some<mes confusing world.
The need to come across with messages with power and passion in a culturally adjusted manner. The need to perform on a stage where actors share, choose freely and are expected to contribute. Where all ideas compete on an equal foo<ng in an environment characterized by flexible roles, transparency and selfdetermina<on.
The project will also look at the leadership role of lecturers. How do they lead themselves, teams and students. How do they combine individualism and the need for more community and ci<zenship. How do they handle radical opennness, mobilize crea<vity and appeal to both the ra<onal and emo<onal needs of key stakeholders.
Finally the project should illustrate how ins<tu<onal and corporate values can come to life via lecturers ac<ng as role models in <mes of change.
