hello, and thank you for taking the time to go through this quick
summary of my profession-al career and have a look at some of my work.
In the following pages i have put together a few words and details about myself, together with a sample of some of the
work that i have produced along the years. My favourite aspects of design are photo manipu-lation, editorial layout and logo design.
I hope that this document serves its purpose in helping you decide if i can be of any useful service to your business’ design needs.

Shortly after i graduat-ed in communications some 11 years ago,
i started my first full time employment with Standard Publications Ltd., where i worked on all design related jobs ranging from newspaper adverts to the pagination of many supple-ments, First magazine and later on manic! magazine. These 4 years served as my basis and introduction into the professional design field.
Around mid 2004 i hap-pened to be approached by Executive Services Ltd, who i ended up joining and working for with utmost dedication for almost 7 years. At esl my expertise in the design field improved considerably. My passion for design went from being somewhat of a neces-sity, to a way of life. I was exposed to a myriad of design applications, further enhancing my skills and
potential, building relations with clients and earn-ing their trust, increasing my awareness about the whole notion of design in life and how it permeates not only within society, but throughout nature itself.
Which brings me to the now. i recently concluded it was time for me to move on and pursue a life-long dream and give a shot at being self employed. i am currently expanding my small client base, with em-phasis on photo manipula-tion, editorial design and online work contracts.I find the prospect of being in control of my own career very exciting, and am determined and confident that in time i will establish myself in the field and be of service to the industry, never giving up, always be-ing the best i can be, while always trying to bear and spread a smile :)
A QUICKINTRODUCTION

for Bay Radio’s Live Life
The Bay Way Campaign.
I love photo manipulation,
and would like to focus on it
and introduce more of this
uncommon genre of
advertising here in Malta.

example of artwork created
with a minimal brief and with
no supplied high res artwork.
Another artwork created
with a minimal brief. i was
told to convey a feeling of
relaxation, while still appear-
ing stylish and trendy.
As it turns out, it was deemed
too relaxing when consid-
ering the music actually
played on the station :D

Logo concepts for the wine promo-
tion campaign mentioned earlier.
I like to sketch my ideas whenever
i can before taking them to the
computer, though at times playing
around with elements on screen of-
fers a certain flexibility which is not
always achievable by hand, i feel.
Logo design together with concept
sketches and variants supplied to the
client before choosing the final colour
scheme and transition.

Logo designed for a Maltese
company operating in the UK. The
client provided a brief indicat-
ing that he wished for a basket
full of Maltese foods. The basket
was rebuilt in vector, and the
items drawn from scratch then
vectored, retaining a sketchy look.

I was in charge of producing the past artworks for Bay’s Live Life The Bay Way
campaign. Once again ESL organised a photoshoot and i constructed and
edited the artworks. All of these artworks are heavily edited, often replacing
whole parts of a scene, changing limbs, adding backgrounds etc.
Head was merged with a
different body in order to
achieve a better posture.
Here again the couple was
super imposed onto the back-
ground, taking into considera-
tion size, perspective etc.

A project i completed recently, the design of a fresh
new logo for a renowned local brand. This logo has
been approved and will eventually replace the cur-
rent logo, together with new packaging etc.
That’s all folks - Thank you and keep smiling!
