EARTHQUAKES
For millions of years earthquakes have been
happening across the globe each year. The good
thing is that nearly all of them are too small to feel.
PLATE TECHTONICS
• Our planet is divided into three main layers. The three main layers are the
crust, magma and the solid core also there’s. Another layer that’s the mantle
but the crust floats on top of individual plates. The plates play a important
role in most earthquakes.
PLATE BOUNDRIES
Earthquakes mostly occur the at the boundary where one plate meets one
other. Techtronic plate either converge, collide, diverge, pull apart or move past
each other when they meet. When plates converge it means that one plate is
slowly pushed beneath the other when plates diverge lava, comes up from the
mantle and cools to form new sections of the crust.
EARTHQUAKE!!!
• In some places the plates become locked together. Earthquakes
leads to death, ugly cities and a ugly environment. You’ve
probably heard a lot of times in the news when a major
earthquake happens just like when a tsunami or eruptions happen
it’ll be recorded on the news.
