Dear Parents: I hope you all are experiencing a relaxing summer and have been able to spend quality time with your families. As your new principal, I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to serve this community and your children. I anxiously await the beginning of the new school year that I am confident will be very rewarding for your children. Our first day of school will be Monday, August 15, 2016. As we begin this year, please remember your student’s education
is a partnership between the home and school. Become a volunteer, attend school functions and activities, join the We Are Dwyer Foundation or the countless other opportunities there are for parent involvement. If we work as a TEAM we can accomplish great things together. Our goals at William T. Dwyer High School are to ensure a safe environment conducive to learning, and to improve achievement so that every student graduates on time and is college or career ready. We are committed to
providing your children the highest quality education possible and the most rewarding experience Dwyer has to offer. I am committed to the faculty, staff, student body, families and community to make Dwyer the best it can be. I want to thank you for your support of your child’s education and look forward to working with each of you. Welcome to Panther Nation!Sincerely, Joe DePasqualePrincipal

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures If you drop-off or pick-up your student, please use the student parking lot. For your convenience, we have installed a covered walkway in the student parking lot. The location of the walkway assists with the safety of our morning and afternoon car riders. The main parking lot is reserved for staff and faculty. Also, ESE buses drop-off and pick-up our ESE students from this lot. This includes several wheelchair bound students. Visitors can find designated parking in the main lot; however, we ask that normal drop-off and pick-ups be conducted from the student lot.
Early Release Students that leave prior to dismissal time must bring a note from their parents to Student Services first thing in the morning, requesting an early dismissal pass. There are no EARLY Release’s after 1:45 PM. Please feel free to call Student Services for clarification @ 625-7810
