“In order for an end user development application to be successful it’s benefits must out weight its cost and risks ”
Sutcliffe (2005)
MY GOAL
In order for me to gain investment I need to convince you that the benefits of my system outweigh it cost and risk
COST 2007 2006
Administrative cost (planning room locations) -348 -352
rents and premises -3,078 -2,907
heat, light, water and power -903 -888
repairs and general maintenance -1,289 -1,259
TOTAL -5,681 -5,406
CURRENT COST ANALYSIS
All of these figures could be reduced by the implementation of the system as it would allow the university to plan and distribute recourses more effectively.
Most of the application exists so it will only require each to be linked to the new system

Can plan room allocation more easily
Facilities will not go to waste
Most of the system already exists
Ability to re-sell (other Uni’s/businesses)
BENEFITS AVALIABLE
ADDITIONAL OPTIONS

Each door can have a flat touch screen Wirelessly updated to show room timetable. This would allow the rooms to be booked from the door
Mobile Text Alerts
Student could have alerts to there mobilePhone to alert them of new news on the System.
If successful additional options for future development could be:
