O: On-going standards:
On-going standards are continually instructed and assessed throughout the year – such as students will analyze the geographical, political, economic, social, and religious structures of each civilization taught. The bolded portions of the revised (2019) standards show specific areas of new content. See attached link of correlation between old and new TN standards. https://www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/education/standards/ss/cos_grade_6.pdf Summer training on these new standards will be attended and when the state releases new testing information it will be attached or placed in a county-wide resource folder. Any changes made to the new standards will be reflected on this pacing guide.
