Does My Watercraft Need an Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Decal?
All watercraft using Wyoming waters are required to display an AIS decal. Costs for the decal are $10 for motorized watercraft registered in Wyoming, $30 for motorized watercraft registered in other states, $5 for non-motorized watercraft owned by Wyoming residents and $15 for non-motorized watercraft owned by non residents. Non-motorized inflatable watercraft 10 feet or less in length are exempt. There is often confusion about whether an AIS decal is required for a specific type of watercraft. The following guide should be used as a reference to determine if a decal is required for your watercraft. Please contact the Wyoming Game and Fish Department if you have further questions about this requirement.
