Meeting PlacesA membership base of 25,000 people. Continually invest in
maintaining our business facilities in three locations across of
20,000sqm of land and 4,654sqm of buildings.
Two contemporary venues providing social hubs. One site
supports Education and Veterans services.
$442,847 over 5 years in-kind support in facility use and
equipment hire. Hosts events for seniors, provides transport for
students and seniors, and entertainment for all ages..

Dune Café and Tarrabora Community RoomsLocated at the Palm Beach Parklands these wonderful facilities were
a gift to the community when the Club surrendered its lease in 2006
to GCCC which subsequently converted it to Parkland.
The area is now extremely popular for families and visitors and is
also the site for annual events such as Outdoor Cinema, Anaconda
Racing and Christmas by the Sea.
The Community Rooms are provided at a reduced rental rate and
have become popular with community groups and children’s
activities classes.

College for approximately 300 people annually.

Environmental Leadership• Worm farm recycling; 10 tons green/kitchen waste per annum and
providing fertilizer for community.
• Recycling all glass, aluminum, plastic, tin, paper, and cardboard.
• Kitchen garden which supplies venues’ produce and educational
workshops.
• Active investment in energy saving devices such as heat pumps,
smart cool air-conditioning systems, Sterile Aire systems, led lighting.
• Current project is the installation of water tanks for non potable water

VETERAN’S SERVICE
Veteran Support CentreEstablished in 1998 to service the Veteran Community on the Southern Gold
Coast.
The centre excels in Veteran Affairs and now attracts people seeking their
services
for all over Australia.
Operated by volunteers and two paid employees, the centre provides services
to thousands of Veterans annually. Such services include;
• Pension applications and disputes
• Hospital, home and independent living visits
• General enquires regarding Veteran Welfare

Days of RemembranceWe have a proud history of remembering and honouring veterans of all ages through hosting significant days of remembrance.
These days are organised to engage all of the community. In the past 5 years the club has spent $931,633 on commemorative days.
Anzac Day Dawn service is nationally telecast by Channel 7 Sunrise each year from 2007
