The Peter’s Pence Second Collection date is next weekend June 29 and 30, at all Masses. The Peter's Pence Collection derives its name from an ancient custom. In ninth-century England, King Alfred the Great collected money, a "pence," from landowners as financial support for the Pope. Today, the Peter's Pence Collection supports the Pope's philanthropy by giving the Holy Father the means to provide emergency assistance to those in need because of natural disaster, war, oppression, and disease. Please Send Us Your Email Address; this will help the parish keep mailing costs at a minimum. In addition, we will be able to keep you informed of specific activities, cancellations, and updates of parish information. Your information will be kept confidential. Click on ‘Email Registration’ at www.stgregzelie.org Thank you. Congratulations to Our St. Gregory Graduates who continue to earn academic success at Quigley Catholic High School: Eva Philips, Michael Duer and Andrew Besong have earned Highest Honors for the last term of 2019.
