Researchers at System R&D center, in NSSOL, develop the next-generation IT technologies for enterprise usage. With this internship program, students can join the real project and work with researchers together. Those projects include various fields in software and hardware engineering. All interns receive ongoing mentorship and training throughout their program.

Development of operation supporting system with AR head-mount display
Description:
In this project, we will develop an operation supporting system featured AR technology for enterprise usage. The coverage include constructing the architecture and implementing an application using an optical see-through HMD (head-mount display) and an AR frame-work, and designing and evaluating its user interface.
Pre-requisite:
-business level skill of communication in either Japanese or English
-Excellent implementation skill in either C#, Java, or C++ (at least 1,000 lines).
-Familiality of fundamental math to dealing with 3D CG (ex.Affine transformation)

You will develop an application program to solve combinatorial optimization problems, with OR-tools and Python. At the same time, You will evaluate new open source OR-tools with some benchmarks.
You can learn the fundamental skills to apply combinatorial optimization technologies and the difficulty of applying those skills into real world problems.
Pre-requisite:
-Implementation skill and experience especially in C++ and Python
-Interest and knowledge for mathematical games and puzzles
