WELCOME TOTUS TUUS MISSIONARY TEAM
We are happy and blessed with the Totus Tuus Program who Start today Sunday with the an-nouncement at all Masses. We welcome the Totus Tuus Missionary Team to our parish. Thank you for your commitment to Catholic Education of our children and youth. Thank you to our Volunteers! We appreciate the disposition and willingness of our parishion-ers to support and help the children and youth program during the whole week.
Totus Tuus is a Catholic youth program dedicated to sharing the Gospel and promoting the Catholic faith through catechesis, evangelization, Christian witness, and Eucharistic worship. The goal of Totus Tuus is to help young people grow in the understanding of, and strengthen their faith in, Jesus Christ. It is only by establishing a real and personal relationship with Him that we can be led to the love of the Father in the Spirit and so be made sharers in the life of the Holy Trinity. "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (John 4:16). Totus Tuus strives to bring our faith to life by creating a balance between knowledge of the meaning of the Sacraments and an authentic Sacramental life

ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN THE ORDINARY TIME
MK 4:26-34 “In today’s gospel passage, Our Lord points to the mustard seed, the tiniest of seeds, and shows how in the right conditions it grows and develops into a large tree that becomes sig-nificant to the ecology of the place in which it grows. The tiny and insignificant becomes great and mighty. This lesson teaches us that even without po-litical office, important administrative roles, great wealth, or other marks of influence, our potential for virtuous living possesses the po-tential for great significance. Each act of obedience to gospel values for which we are responsible introduces another initiative for goodness in creation, and that goodness snow-balls when it encounters others. Just as men-acing acts lend increase to other menacing acts, so does goodness multiply goodness. It is the very nature of good to increase.
It is, of course, one thing to recognize that one should spend one’s life sowing goodness, and quite another thing to strategize for how that can be attempted. The Christian, however, is given a reliable pattern for con-structing a pattern of doing good. It is found in the Eucharist, which the Church teaches is the source and summit of the Christian life. Our Lord did not only give us the Eucha-rist, but He called us to live a Eucharistic life.” Fr. Michael Monshau, O.P.
Dominican Father Michael Monshau, formerly of the theology department at the Pontifical Universi-ty of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome (the "Angelicum") is now professor of homiletics and liturgy and a formator at Christ the King Seminary, East Aurora, New York.
