COLLISION MITIGATION BRAKING SYSTEMThe Civic RS Sensing incorporates a millimetre wave radar sensor, that helps mitigate the severity of an unavoidable accident by automatically applying strong brake pressure when needed.

LANE DEPARTURE WARNINGThe windshield mounted camera identifies common safety markers, like lane dividers and catseye markers, and will issue an audio alert if you are about to leave your lane without signalling.

LANE KEEP ASSIST Honda’s Lane Keep Assist System reduces the strain of extended driving by helping you maintain your lane position. If the vehicle begins to leave the centre of a detected lane without signalling, the steering automatically adjusts to keep you centred.

FORWARD COLLISION WARNINGThe Honda Forward Collision Warning System uses a small camera, mounted at the top of the windshield, to determine if you are at risk of a collision with another vehicle. The system issues audio and visual signals, and will automatically apply brake pressure should you fail to react.

ROAD DEPARTURE MITIGATIONThe Road Departure system works in conjunction with the Lane Departure Warning sensors to gently correct your course, via steering and braking adjustments, in the event ofthe vehicle leaving a detected lane.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL WITH LOW SPEED FOLLOWThe Civic RS Sensing’s onboard radar & camera sensors enable the Adaptive Cruise Control to maintain a set following interval by automatically adjusting your cruise control speed up or down when traffic is detected.

MULTI ANGLE REVERSING CAMERAShift into reverse and the multi angle camera automatically displays one of three rear views on the Advanced Display Audio Unit. The Civic combines information received from parking sensors and steering, to perfectly project and display your path as dynamic guidelines overlaid on the reversing camera feed. LANEWATCH CAMERAHonda's LaneWatch Camera is the next step in blind spot detection. When indicating left, or at the push of a button, a camera mounted under the passenger wing mirror shows a sweeping 80˚ view – making lane changes safer than ever.

ELECTRONIC BRAKE HOLDNever again will you spend your time stopped in traffic stepping on the brake pedal. Simply press the automatic Brake Hold button and the system will hold the Civic in position without you having to step on the brake. The clever system automatically releases the brake as you press the accelerator pedal so long as the driver’s seatbelt is engaged.

EMERGENCY STOP SIGNALThe Emergency Stop Signal automatically activates the brake and hazard warning lights when it detects an emergency stop situation. The lights blink rapidly to warn following vehicles that the car is stopping abruptly, reducing the risk of a collision.
