    CD S & C 600 , 4 19,with high-level dance training including the CityDance Conservatory, anintensive pre-proessional training program that prepares young dancers orproessional careers.

    Bringing together leading modern and contemporary techniques with a ballet V , CD the next generation o dance perormers and innovators. Located at the Music Centerat Strathmore, and now with a ourth studio at the nearby The Academy o the HolyCross, close to 100 classes are taught each week in beautiul, large, light-lled studios.

    CityDances aculty consists o highly trained teachers, choreographers and coaches.Through the Guest Artist Program, CityDance brings proessional dance artists andcompanies rom around the world to the school each year. They lead master classes,teach proessional-level choreography, create new repertory and perorm with andor conservatory students in a wide range o genres, including contemporary, ballet,jazz, hip hop, Bollywood, Sri Lankan and Aro-Fusion.

    Conservatory students perorm requently in CityDances Studio Theater at Strathmoreas well as at larger area venues. Students have been accepted into prestigious summerdance programs such as Bolshoi, ABT, Jacobs Pillow, and universities including AlvinA/F, SUNY/P, P P, A K/LINES BFA, NYU-T So the Arts and Juilliard.

    CityDance Community Programs are ofered at over 30 community-basedsites in the regions most under-resourced neighborhoods providing reeperormances, in-school and ater-school programs, and summer camps to 5,000 .

    DREAMAs the arts become less accessible in our schools, DREAM reaches into ourneighborhoods, giving back to our students what is undamental to any childsuture- experience and participation in the arts.

    Now in its tenth year, the our-hour a week ater-school program is ofered to120 students in grades third to eighth at six DC public schools. DREAM employsthe principles o Advancing Youth Development a nationally recognized modelor instilling youth with the skills necessary or success in lie. Students takeeld trips to proessional perormances; receive over 100 hours o danceinstruction in multiple genres; perorm at a Washington Wizards hal-time; andproduce and choreograph their own end o year perormance highlightingtheir community service projects.

    The DREAM Alumni program provides graduates o the DREAM programopportunities to mentor younger students; scholarships or continued dancestudy; and additional perormance opportunities.

    ReachDCThrough partnerships with organizations across the metropolitan area, ReachDCexpands CityDances connection to the larger community. ReachDCs programmingranges rom perormances in a vast array o genres to arts-integration residencies,summer camps, ater-school programs, and eld-trips.
