Christian J. (CharUe) Wagner, 92year old longtime Boundary countyresident, passed away Thursdaymorning, Dec. 5 at the hospitalwhere he had been a patient forone week.

He was born February 24, 1871 inErnsbach, Germany, where he grewup and received his education. At16 years of age, he migrated to. theUnited States, settling in lowrfl Hebecame a naturalized cSiraSS m

1900. He operated flour mSff formany years in North and SouthDakota and also throughout the In-land Empire area.

In 1889 he married Julia Flobergat Kindred. N. D. In 1905 they mov-ed to Spokane, and later in 1910came to the Round Prairie districtwhere he homesteaded, operatingthe farm until 1943, when he soldthe farm and moved"~l&. BonnergFerry. Later, following ^ale of . hishome here, and spending a fewyears in the east, he returned againto Idaho where he bought a homein Ponderay. In 1952, he bought theMt View hotel her^ operating ituntil his retirement at the age of85. Hii wife preceded him in deathon July 9, 1923. "7-
