Mechanical Specifi cations.
The CGCH liquid Chillers are oÍ monobloc construction and are designed Íorindoor operation. The principle components are Trane &DnScroll compressors,brazed plate tlTe evaporators, aluminiumfin condensing coils, and centriÍugal fans.All urfts are subject to test during manu-Íacture and ready for immediate start upon site.
Trane 3-DnScroll Compres-sorsi.Patented compression chamber sealingsystem and swing link design to eliminatethe effects ofliquid slugging.Lubrication with a centrifugal pump aldsight glass.Two pole motor, suction gas cooled witlrsolid state protection against excess tem-perahre and overload relay.Two compressors in parallel for the sizes115 to 125, three compressors for tworefrigerant circuits Íor the sizes 225 to235. and four compressors Íor two refrigerant circuits for the sizes 240 and 250.
Condenser.One vertical coil for the sizes 115 to 125,two vertical coils for tlle otler sizes.Made fiom searnless copper tubes,expanded into continuous aluminium fls.Integral subcooler.Vertical or horizontal discharge centrifu-gal funs.
Evaporator.Brazed plate type evaporator in stair esssteel with copper brazrd joints. Walerconnections pipe thread ISO R7. On uritswitï two evaporators the connectingwater manifold is supplied.
Refrigerant Circuits.The circuits are assembled, pressure tes.ted, and dehydrated in tlte factory.Each circuit includes filter drier, solenoidvalve, expansion valve and liquid linesolenoid shut ofÍ valve.
The electromechanical compartmenlcontains tlle compressor contactors, thefan contactors, the overload relays, andthe customer coÍrÍrection terminals.The electrical wiring diagrams are atta-ched to tlte control panel door.The SMM Module provides l}e Íollowirgfunctions :- Control of the leaving chilled water tem-perafure.
- Control of the various operating modesand tlle saÍety parameters.
