We like to think our Hotel combines the best of both
worlds: old-world charm and 21st Century comfort.
At the heart of the property is an 18th Century former
coaching inn, whilst newer rooms look out across
the kitchen garden to the dovecote and orchard.
Of course, hospitality is at the heart of what we do:
our two restaurants – The Richmond Arms and the
Goodwood Bar & Grill – make the most of local and
seasonal produce, much of it organic and sourced from
our very own Home Farm. If you can tear yourself away,
there’s a swimming pool and tennis courts, as well as
a gym and spa, not to mention our two golf courses.

This light and spacious room at The Goodwood Hotel
is perfect for larger celebrations. Our reputation for
excellence and attention to detail extends from menu
planning and great, personal service to table flowers
and place settings. With views out to our lovely kitchen
garden, dovecote and orchard, the Cedar Suite provides
a focal point for the day or night’s entertainment.

Now the splendid club house for Goodwood’s Members,
the Grade I listed Kennels are a magnificent setting
for show-stopping celebrations, whatever the occasion.
The classically inspired flint and brick building, designed
by James Wyatt in 1787, now combines the grandeur
of Goodwood’s heritage with comfortable modern
touches which ensure that Members and guests alike are
looked after to the highest standards. The elegance of
the private Music Room lends itself perfectly to small
gatherings for dinners with a true sense of occasion,
whilst on sunny days the outdoor terrace, with its
views across the Duchess Paddock to Goodwood
House, can host spectacular cocktail parties.

We think the name says it all: ‘Glorious Goodwood’.
This highlight in the English summer season attracts
visitors from around the world, drawn not only by
the Sport of Kings but by the opportunity to dress up,
socialise and enjoy what has been said by many people
to be the most beautiful racecourse in the world.
Set high on the South Downs, with views that stretch
across the Estate and as far as the Isle of Wight,
the Racecourse makes a great place to celebrate
and can accommodate groups of almost any size.

You might think of the Goodwood Estate as the
biggest, most glamorous, grown-up adventure
playground in the world. Where else, after all, will
you find a world-famous Racecourse; a Motor Circuit
where you can get behind the wheel of a racing car
and an Aerodrome from which you can enjoy a private
flying lesson. You may fancy a round on one of
Goodwood’s two championship golf courses, a game
of tennis, a dip in the pool or a pampering massage
at The Waterbeach spa. History, heritage, design and
detail combine to provide a unique setting in which
to celebrate the very best, whatever the occasion.

At the heart of the Estate lies Goodwood House,
ancestral seat of the Dukes of Richmond for more
than 300 years and still very much the family home.
Over the centuries, the House has played host to
an extraordinary list of guests, from royalty to rock
stars, and to this day it provides a truly exceptional
setting in which to celebrate in style.

The magnificent State Apartments retain their
original Regency splendour, with huge chandeliers and
fabulous works of art, including paintings by Stubbs,
Van Dycke and Canaletto. According to the occasion
and the number of guests, almost any combination
of rooms can be used to bring your dreams to life.
And it’s not just the ‘wow’ factor you and your guests
will remember; we pay attention to every single detail
and have a team of planners, butlers and chefs to
ensure your celebration runs like clockwork.
