"Mineral Rights 2"
Carol Nelson Fine Art
Hello Art Lovers and Subscribers,
Things are busy, as usual, at my studio in Colorado.
The above painting, "Mineral Rights 2" , is the latest
in my geologic abstract series. It features abundant
texture resembling geologic strata, and smooth, glossy,
black area which is covered with a clear coat of epoxy
resin. You can see the camera caught a little of the
shine in the lower left of the black area.

Starting next month, I have a very full schedule of
workshops from one end of the country (California) to
the other (Florida). I'm very excited about the new
venues at which I'll be teaching, as well as some old
favorites - would you believe THREE in Texas alone -
all old favorites in Dallas, Austin, and Houston.
For a complete list of my workshops, please see my
website, click on workshops and classes, and remember
to scroll down to read the details of each workshop.

Between travels, I also host a number of private
students in my studio. Since EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED,
I get a lot of students from out of the country. They
don't have to worry about taking art supplies through
customs, and enjoy the freedom of packing light.
Kris and Dot are a couple Canadians who flew
down from Winnipeg, Manitoba, CA.
Here I am with Dot, and my two studio ambassadors,
Larry and Maggie.
Mia, from Chicago, and Candace from Colorado

Some of my recent sales - many over the internet
Many collectors choose to order a reproduction of
one of my original paintings. If the painting you see
on my website is already sold, or beyond of your
budget, consider ordering a reproduction like these
collectors did.
Thank your for your interest in my art.
Warm regards,
Carol
