Nortek Global HVAC Belgium is the European market leader in the development and manufacturing of gas fired heating appliances and air handling units. More recently we have developed our offering in the ventilation and cooling markets. We are part of a global Air Han-dling business who have facilities worldwide both in the residential and light commercial mar-kets. We continue to strive towards more energy efficient and more environmentally friendly HVAC solutions, that are required to respond to future legislation and market requirements. To support our development, we are hiring a (m/f) business development manager
Business development manager responsibilities:
• identify and quantify targets and generate new business growth opportunities for the whole business
• develop and implement a plan to target new profitable business potential from, and not restricted to, the following sectors: Retail – Commercial – Industrial – Consultants
• arrange face to face meetings with key new business contacts and decision makers
• prepare a Business Development Plan for each key account, agreeing KPIs and submit quarterly progress reports
• liaise with the relevant sales staff to maintain customer relationships
• acquaint oneself with a comprehensive knowledge of the market place and of Company’s competitors and their products
• tailor communication of value propositions to motivate customers and differentiate from competitors
• maintain and ensure that all areas within the Company’s Sales and Marketing database system are constantly updated with all appropriate information
• develop and maintain a program of attendance exhibitions, seminars and meetings in connection with the Company’s business

Profile:• customer oriented• technical background, with preference in an HVAC related field• responsible and self reliant, as well as a team worker• driven• good communication skills in Dutch, English and French• knowledge of MS Office• flexible attitude and able to manage multiple projects• Bachelor or working experience of 10 years
