And we reflect on Your word at all times.

And our spirits are refreshed in your presence! Amen!

Wesley’s 3rd Annual Worship in the Park Next Sunday, August 30, 10:00 am
at University Park
Come and join us for worship at
Shelter #3 in University Park.
Please bring lawn chairs or
blankets to sit on during the
worship service.
Then stay for a picnic lunch.
Burgers, hot dogs, beverages, and
place settings will be provided.
Please bring a side dish, salad or
dessert to share.
And parents, we will also be close to
the splash park, so if kids want to play
in the water afterward, feel free to
bring swimsuits and towels for them
(and you too if you like!).
For many years I have brought
magazines & solicited magazines from
you as a recycling project and also to
help members have magazines for
visiting shut-ins. I tried to keep the
magazines less than 6 months old. I hope
the magazine swap has been an asset to
many of you.
I am looking for someone to take over this project. If no one contacts me by Sept. 30,
2015 I will remove and recycle the magazines and rack. Prayerfully consider taking
over this mission.

O God, our King, you are the hope of the world! You bring peace and
gladness even when we struggle. We dedicate our offerings to strengthen the
church’s witness in the world. May our wider community experience a taste
of the goodness of your coming kingdom. Through these gifts, may your love
be made known to those who struggle. We pray through Jesus Christ, who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
Amen.

Help Fill the Semi-truck!
The Dakotas Conference will have a semi-
truck in Fargo from Sept. 15-18 to collect
United Methodist Committee on Relief
(UMCOR) kits and will then deliver them
to the UMCOR depot in Sager Brown, LA.
Help us fill the truck with items for
UMCOR kits. School and Health kits are
usually the most urgently needed items.
You can provide a complete kit or
individual items and bring them to the
church. Please be sure to purchase items according to the instructions.
Lists can be found on a table in the fellowship room and there is a bin to put your items in.
Thank you for your help with this project. The lists for these kits are also located on the
UMCOR web site, www.umcor.org, or you can contact the church office.
