Brockville’s Blockhouse IslandAn Oasis in the City
written & photographed by: Fergus JM Ducharme,
assisted by: Alexandra Gauthier & Sebastian Gauthier.
It’s quite true. Blockhouse Island is a veritable OASIS in this fantastic, historic
small town on the St. Lawrence River and the eastern end of the 1,000 Islands,
It’s worth just coming down to the waterfront just to sit and watch the world go
by…it can be an educational experience, or just a plain relaxing few minutes
before getting back to the daily grind of life.
There’s not much to say. We’ll try to say it with our usual photos…
My two helpers. The Grandchildren Alexandra & Sebastien Gauthier
