OVERVIEWChâteau Gloria and its vineyard, located in Saint-Julien de Beychevelle, bothhave an atypical story. Henri Martin started to create the estate from the80's, cautiously, row by row, exclusively buying parcels from Grands Crus of1855 nearby. During several years, he managed to convince his neighborsfrom Saint-Julien to buy each plot for sale which are the secret of today'shigh quality wines. On the same path for quality and sharing, Château Gloriahas created Le Bordeaux de Gloria. This wine is gingerly selected by thechâteau team in order to meet any convivial moment all over the year.

VINEYARDSoil: Deep Gunzian gravel from the Garonne River on a clayey-sandysubsoil.Grape varieties: 75% Merlot / 15% Cabernet Sauvignon / 10% CabernetFranc

VINIFICATIONClassical vinification in thermo-regulated vats. Ageing in vats with Frenchwooden staves.

WINE TASTINGAttractive dark and dense colour. The expressive nose displays subtle blendof black fruits (Morello cherry, blackcurrant) and roasted touch (toast,vanilla). On the palate, the wine is wide and fleshy, with nice fruity touchenhanced by élégant woody notes and pleasant tannins.

MATCHING FOOD AND WINEServe at 17-18°C with roast turkey chick, fish fillet and red wine sauce or withgrilled fillet of duck breast and ground pepper sauce, along with home-mademashed potatoes. This wine will be perfect with a good selection of cheesesand fine cooked meats.
