THREE’S COMPANY: Among qualifying Major League rookies, INF/OF Trey Mancini ranks third in batting
average (.312) and slugging percentage (.588), fourth in on-base percentage (.354), tied for fourth in RBI (44), and
sixth in home runs (14)…His 14 home runs this season before the All-Star break are the most by a rookie in Orioles
history…Eddie Murray (1977) and Curt Blefary (1965) each had 13 before the break as rookies…Mancini’s 44

the Elias Sports Bureau, Mancini was the first player with eight home runs within his first 15 career hits since Carlos
Delgado did so for the Blue Jays in 1994...Delgado’s eighth career home run came on his 13th hit.
UPPER DECK IS THE TOPPS: 3B Manny Machado hit his 11th home run of the season on June 2 vs.
Boston...The home run reached the second deck in left field, the first home run hit to the second deck of Oriole Park
since Mark Reynolds did so on August 7, 2011 vs. Toronto...According to Statcast, Machado's homer measured an
estimated 465 feet.
GENUINE DRAFT: The Orioles selected LHP DL Hall from Valdosta (GA) High School with their first selection
