A A VADODARA: Information Communication Technology (ICT) service provider Tata Teleservices (TTSL) today said it is
looking at providing customised ICT solutions in Vadodara and Ankleshwar in SME, automobile, retail and IT start-up space.
"TTSL in Vadodara has registered an 8% growth in small and medium enterprises (SME) business space vis-a-vis 1%of the
industry in 2015-16 on the back of superior customer-centric approach, customised solutions and enhanced capacity to cater to a
wide range of business solutions," Sourabh Sharma, vice-president and regional operations head (Enterprise Business) TTSL,
Pune, said.
He was speaking to reporters today on the occasion of completion of 10 years of TTSL's office here.
Sharma said there are 1,800 SME units catering to large industries in the city and these SMEs are growing fast, adopting
information and communication technology solutions to scale up their business.
"TTSL plans to forge strategic partnerships with SMEs by providing marketing solutions like toll free, call registry services, SMS
gateway, a host of managed services and new-age digital solutions like Internet of Things (IoT)," he said.
"Vadodara is a growing SME market and we are witnessing a tremendous demand for ICT solution from SMEs here. We expect the
momentum to continue for the next 10 years."
The company is also eyeing greater business opportunity in ICT solutions for school bus tracking systems, medical transcription
and financial transactions, among others, in Vadodara, Surat and Ahmedabad.
"There are new opportunities in agriculture and education. The agriculture sector is using mobile applications and IoT for better
output while the education sector is gaining momentum for content distribution network (CDN) services," he added.
