2002 Ducati 996
All I can say is wow! I loved this bike. I bought it from a guy in Michigan and drove all theway there to get it. He pointed to a big house and claimed Eminem was his neighbor. It wasa bone stock bike for the most part, with Fast By Feracci pipes installed. It was fast and fun.I can remember getting on it hard one day with my wife on the back and the front end cameup. It scared her but I road it for a bit before I let it back down. I rode this a couple ofseasons and decided to sell it. Still wish I had this one.
2002 Ducati Monster
All stock. This bike was slow, though fun to ride. I liked the way it handled, but it all keptcoming back to it being too slow. I even tried to change the chain and sprockets to a lowergear to get more low end power, but it didn’t improve much. I got it cheap and sold it cheapand I’m not sorry it’s gone. In the end it just didn’t do it for me.

2002 MV Agusta
After the owner of this bike was killed in a motorcycle accident (on another bike), the bankdiscovered that while this bike actually existed, the titles on all of his other toys andrecreational vehicles were fraudulent—there was nothing to repo after he died. I was ableto buy this bike at less than half its regular price. It was a cool bike, though it didn’t handleall that well. But I could never get it out of my head that the previous owner had died in apretty jawdropping motorcycle accident. I ended up selling it.
1978 FXL Before & After
If a bike ever had a dramatic history it was this one. It all started with a couple I met at aHarley shop. The girlfriend had purchased the bike for him as a present, but when he washard up for money, he sold it to me for cash. Let’s just say his girlfriend didn’t take too wellto that and though it had been a legitimate transaction, she proceeded to stalk me for thebike or the money, as well as any members of my family she could get a hold of. The badkarma continued as I tried to have work done on it by the owner of what turned out to be andisreputable, scampulling bike shop. I liked this bike but way too much drama came with it.I unloaded it on eBay.

1967 Vespa Granturismo
I still own this. I found this on Craig’s List in the Miami area and had to have it. I was told ithad a great motor in it so I had it shipped back to MN and quickly found out the motor wasshot. It was also infested with cockroaches. I know, right? Gross. I did a bug bomb andkilled everything and pulled the motor. I put in a Stella motor with a new Italian crank andlarger piston and cylinder. It’s now close to 200 CC. I upgraded the exhaust and suspensionand put on tires that could handle the speeds that it can go. Now it’s a little rocket that goesaround 80 miles an hour. I belong to a local Scooter club and we have a blast riding once aweek. There is nothing like cruising down the highway flying past the other cars and lookingat their expressions as I do.

2002 Harley Night Train
I got this bike from a flybynight dealer in a trade for my BMW X5. This was a great bikebut I couldn’t ride any long distances. With the drag bars I had to lean too far forward, whichkilled my back. It was great looking and quick, but I ended up trading it in on my 5th wheel.
