Anchorage to Seward

Driving from Anchorage

Take the Seward Hwy (Hwy 1) south along the Turnagain Arm. Shortly after Portage, you will enter the Kenai Penninsula. Hwy 1 will turn into Hwy 9 at the Kenai/Soldotna & Homer Junction. Follow the signs to Seward.

Upon Arriving in Seward

Turn left at the Gas Station (N Harbor St.), then turn right onto 4th Ave. Our office is located at 1302-C 4th Avenue, one block south on 4th Avenue on the left side. Pay parking is available in the 72-hr public lots shown on the map below. Please check in at the Aurora Charters office before boarding the vessel.

Arriving by Train

Proceed south from the train depot on the sidewalk to the Small Boat Harbor (approximately 1 block). Our office is located in the Harbor Master Plaza.

Seward Harbor

Seward is 130 miles south of Anchorage.

Allow at least 3 hours driving time. Allow 3 1/2 hrs driving time if

towing a camper or driving an RV.

Park in the 72-hr Pay Public Parking areas. DO NOT park in the 3-hr public lot

directly in front of the harbor.

Camping is available along theSeward Hwy and in Seward.
