Alma School had a cultural evening on
Thursday, 15 September. The choir,
wheelchair dancers and percussion band
prac(ced hard and looked forward to the
evening. Quite a number of parents turned
up to support their children and could
proudly observe what their children
were capable of!! A string ensemble
from “Crea(ve Alliance for Youth in Arts”
from A.eridgeville enhanced the
evening’s experience.
A0er the performances, it was (me to dance!
The children danced their hearts out and
showed that healthy fun is part of our Alma
culture. Many thanks to all the staff involved,
as well as our principal, Mr Bondesio, who
a.ended the occasion. Last, but not least, a
special thanks to all the parents and children
who made all of this possible.
Tekkie Tax Business Ambassador for Disabili(es
The Tekkie Tax Business Ambassador for
Disabili(es, Michellene Toms, celebrated
her birthday with learners from Group
24 on Tuesday, 20 September.
The superhero themed party was great
fun and our learners each went home with a superhero
mask and a party pack. The learners from Group 22
made the most delicious snack pla.ers for the adults to
enjoy. Overall it was a blessed and fun day!!!

“WE CARE”
We want to thank everyone who helped with the “plas(c bo.le tops project” for a wheel-
chair for Shirley Visagie. She was so fortunate to receive a wheelchair that was donated by
the government. The tops we collected was handed over to the Save-a-Child Organisaon.
They will be able to help the next person who needs as wheelchair.
Our school will then finalise the project on 26 September 2016.
Regards from Group 15
