AGP has the skills and experience necessary
to design, engineer, manufacture and install
detailed and complicated glass structures
to suit the aesthetic requirements and
monetary constraints of the client.
Structural glass assemblies are perhaps one of the
most complex types of projects to undertake in the
industry. Specialist glass structures require immense
planning, skill and experience. That is one of the
reasons why AGP is at the top of its game in this area.
Our skill, knowledge and experience ensures a great
result is achieved every time.

Glazed Roofs & Awnings
In any commercial building design, glazed awnings and roofs play an important
role. From an aesthetic point of view they provide striking features and building
showpieces, while other more practical benefits include protection from the
outside elements and the delivery of natural light into the building.
A glass roof is perhaps the best and most efficient method of heating and lighting a building.
Natural lighting provides a building with a more open and airy feel, making the people within
the building’s walls feel more like they are outside. This can encourage them to stay in the building
for longer, than if they only had artificial light.

AGP specialises in projects that require a large amount of engineering and design
work. Every structural glazing project, in both floor and underwater applications,
is different and needs to be assessed on an individual basis, taking into account
factors such as expected dead and live loads, as well as hydrostatic pressures.
AGPs team of inhouse engineers and designers will ensure every project is
undertaken to the strict quality and design standards.

Balustrading is an important safety feature in the design of any building, but this doesn’t mean
the design of the balustrading itself cannot improve the aesthetics of the building. The use of glass
in balustrading, either as a stand alone material or in combination with a metal or timber, can add
significant prestige and value to a building.
