Votze Butler Associates was established in 2000 to provide General Contracting and Project Management to the commercial real estate community and its tenants. Over the years, our reputation has allowed us the opportunity to work with some of the most recognized names in technology, banking, and retail. Our core business comes from repeat clients and their recommendations to potential new customers. Since our founding, the VBA edict has been unwavering. We made a commitment to our clients to practice honesty and lend value to their construction projects, no matter the size. VBA collaborates with all stakeholders—architects, engineers, owners, and tenants--during the planning stages and throughout the entire project. Our projects include building retrofit programs and tenant improvements, along with design services. Each project has the personalized attention of a dedicated Project Manager that owns the project from start to finish—ensuring timely and quality results. We make safety our highest priority, with specific site-safe plans, workplace safety programs and a common sense approach to all projects. Every VBA employee receives OSHA ten (10) hour certified training, ensuring the safest workplace possible for clients, subcontractors, and employees. Guaranteeing quality workmanship is possible only through the high standards that in-house and subcontractor teams deliver to our clients, on every project. That's our promise.
DEDICATION TO VALUE
From pre-construction through post-construction, VBA’s focus is on understanding what our client’s needs are in terms of schedule, scope and budget. We collaborate with the client, design professionals, subcontractors and outside vendors, to ensure we deliver a project that consistently exceeds expectations.
Pre-Construction Phase
The pre-construction stage sets the tone and builds the foundation for a seamless construction process. It allows us to assist our clients to achieve their design and budget goals. Through asking the right questions and listening to what our clients want, we develop a customized plan to achieve this as a team. We provide value by filling in the blanks, defining the scope of work, assessing alternative materials, means and methods. By effectively managing the intent of the design team with the desires of the client, the pre-construction process will ultimately save time and money, leading to a smoother construction phase.
Construction Phase
Whether involved in the pre-construction phase or not, we take the time to understand each project and its unique challenges. This allows us to develop a customized project plan, which defines scope, schedule and budget. Our sites are well managed in terms of safety and cleanliness, even in the most chaotic of schedules. Through constant communication and strategic planning, we execute the team’s agenda with the ultimate goal of client satisfaction.
Post-Construction Phase
At VBA, we recognize the importance of finishing strong and leaving a positive impression on our customers. Our personalized approach to project management provides continuity throughout the project, and that carries through this critical phase. We generate a punch-list ahead of time, allowing us to assist our clients with any last-minute challenges that may arise. We prepare closeout manuals and provide project documentation, while addressing all issues to the customer’s satisfaction. We want you back as a repeat customer! We build our reputation one successful project at a time.
