Announcements – Pedagogical dimension
• a message indicating that a document is added in the site (Reading to be made for the following lesson)
• instructions for a work• a reminder for the preparation for an examination• a message of motivation• Etc.
Reminder : With the tool announcements, the lecturers can display current information to the students and attract their attention to it. For example, the lecturer can remind an approaching deadline, point out new documents online or communicate about an interesting conference. Reminders result from the site www.claroline.net).

Documents and links – Pedagogical dimension
• a fast transmission of documents and relevant links, at any time.

Reminder : This tool provides a comprehensive mechanism for organising files (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, video, audio, etc.) and links that a teacher would like to make available to the students. It is possible to make many directories, and to have directories within directories to enable grouping of files.

• Faster traffic (circulation) of a document (or link) in the other one.
• Solution: allow to attend the course under the shape of a plan.
• As opposed to the pedagogical path, circulation would be possible through the content of the tool « Documents and links ».
• Useful to find an information rapidly or to have on overview of a module.

Activités module 1
Consultez le plan de cours pour connaître les consignes au sujet de la présentation des travaux.
Module 1Vous débutez ce module en créant un portfolio numérique. Vous ferez par ailleurs un bilan de vos compétences. Par la suite, on vous proposera différents exercices pratiques qui seront effectués dans des logiciels variés.
Finalement, vous ferez une réflexion pédagogique portant sur l'utilisation de logiciels dans votre enseignement.

Créez un diaporama qui contiendra dix diapositives. Vous devez présenter une notion (règle, explication, etc.) à des élèves.

•Une image de la bibliothèque ;

Reminder : The forums tool allows people to post ideas, opinions, and information in an organized way about the course. Posts are organized in a way that makes it easy for people to find the information they are interested in, but without having to wade through unrelated information.

The learning path – Pedagogical dimension
• The creation of linear courses.Allows the sending of :
Reminder : The learning path tool of Claroline allows you to create a complete sequence of learning steps or activities that your learners can follow. The main idea is that you can suggest (or force) your students to read some documents, pass exercises or follow any learning activity that you created yourself in a determined sequence (called « learning path »). For more efficiency, you can structure your learning path in "chapters" or "weeks" for example.

• Allow the professor to transfer a contents (documents, exercises, educational courses) created in a course towards other one of his courses.
• Professors' team develops a contents in a site of course (courses). Afterward, one of the members of the team could transfer the contents or a part of it towards one of his courses.
• Possibility of using Netquiz (allows to build exercises or tests) in the learning path.
• Every student could create a portfolio inside a course or several courses for the same trimestre.
• Creation or import of mind map in CLAROLINE.

• Allow the creation of an audio capsule ( Podcast), or video by the professor, inside Claroline. The student could download this capsule directly in Documents and links or by means of a thread RSS.
• Be able to use collaborative tools (as SharePoint).
• Exercise: have a meter to show the time (useful for an examination).
• Improve Wiki (as the version of SharePoint on 2010): it would be so easy to integrate videos and images inside (as a word processor).
