Nature Spa Take some time o" from the burdens of expectations and rejuvenate yourself. Let us take you on a journey, a journey of the senses through a culture rooted in balance and the wisdom of nature.
Basking in the sun, gazing at the hills,
bathing in the stream,
and sauntering in the shade
of the woods might prove
rejuvenating enough.
But feel free to luxuriate
at the spa as you enjoy
the serenity of nature;
it might just make
the bond grow even richer
and the calm grow
still deeper.
Watching BirdsHere is where the birds convene in chorus. Whistling Scarlet Minivets, drumming Black-rumped Flamebacks, highly arboreal Oriental White-eyes, perched Malabar Trogon, Yellow-browed Bulbuls, Barets and more, as Coorg is home for a quarter of all avian species in India.
Forest TrekkingThe mere climb into the woods is enough reason for delight. Roosts of the nocturnal Ceylon Frogmouth at dawn and dusk may add to the experience, as you walk along the sentinel trees that has loomed over the plantation for over a century.
Waterfall Cycling The ride along the scenic Hattihole River is just a prelude to the beauty of the destination. Experience peace as the music of the waterfall drowns out all the sounds that ever plagued you.
Our chefs serve local and
international cuisine;
Coorg, South Indian,
Thai and Continental.
Locally grown
vegetables and spices
from our own garden
help make every dish
come alive. Indulge
in a speciality co"ee,
tuck into a platter
of pork satay or enjoy
an evening of
nature dining.

Roads and walkways
veer politely round the largest trunks
and boulders along the meandering
river, creating an inviting sense
of integration with the forest.
The result, at times, feels more
like embroidery than architecture.
And if you visit during the monsoon,
the rains make the forest a denser
package of delight.
