#1 - Open Career Clusters and select 2-3 Clusters you are interested in # 2 - Click on Start the Quiz to begin Career Matchmaker Quiz. Answer 39 questions. When you are done with quiz select DONE in upper right-hand corner. The other activities on this page are all optional in 6th grade.

Once you have completed the 4 required activities your EDP is complete. #1 Select 2-3 Career Clusters that interest you #2 Complete Career Matchmaker Quiz #3 Explore at least 3 Careers #4 Complete Lesson: School Subjects at Work You may explore and complete any other activities you see in Xello. All additional activities are optional. In 6th grade the goal is to get you thinking about what careers are available. Each year you will log back into to Xello and complete a few additional activities on your Education Development Plan. You will also be asked to review and update any selections you have made in previous years. As you mature you will develop discover activities you like and do not like, develop new skills and interests and gain life experiences. As you get closer to high school thinking about all of these things will help you identify what classes and electives you want to take, as well as clubs and sports you want to participate in. Ultimately these choices can be part of what helps you determine what to do with your future after high school graduation. The goal is that you will feel confident pursing a fulfilling career that you enjoy after high school graduation. Along the way you will need to determined the path you will take to achieve your goals.
