The camp can be booked on drive-in basis where travellers arrive
and depart with their safari vehicle or on a game package where
shared transfers andgamedrives areprovidedby the camp’s
4x4safarivehicles.Foranadditionalcost, thecamp’svehicles
can be arranged on a private basis.
Dedicatedvehiclesareavailablefortravellerswishingtoflyinto
the nearest airstrip for their stay at the camp. These custom built
vehicles have open sides and a pop-up roof. They are driven by
highly experienced English speaking guides who are familiar
withSerengetiNationalPark,themigrationandtheotherwildlife
found near the camp.
VEHICLES
Perfectly complementing the overall Serengeti experience,
diningis likewiseaspecialoccasionatthesecamps–glorious
cuisineinadreamsetting.Alovelydiningtentsetsthelocation
wherepersonalisedmealsareserved.Occasionalbushmealsare
served near to the camp, and camp-fires are lit when conditions
allow,addingavibrantatmosphere.Privatediningcanalsobe
arrangedonrequest.
Withadvancenotice,specialdietaryanddrinkrequirementscan
be catered to, and children may be provided with meals tailored
to their likes and dislikes.
As visits to Serengeti ExplorerCamp are offered on a partial
all-inclusive basis, all meals, soft drinks, domestic beer and
house wines are included in the price. Spirits, premium wine,
champagne and other drinks are available at an additional cost.
DINING
Ensuring that children have an equally thrilling taste of Africa, the
RafikiExplorerClubisofferedasanaddedvaluetofamiliestravelling
with children aged six to 15. These special guests become members
of this club to keep them involved and entertained during their visit.
The club is based at the camp and includes learning activities such as
footprint tracking, animal call identification, cooking and traditional
Africanboardgames,tonameafew.Childrenwillhavethedelightof
