2016 BP MS 150 Safety Reminders
• Don’t forget:
– Hydrate often and early!
– Remind cyclists to carry own medications (pain reliever and allergy medications, eye drops, and asthma inhalers, etc.)
• Route:
– Unofficial team breakpoints cause cyclist confusion
– Be aware of cones as you enter Austin; encourage cyclists to be patient and careful
– Slow riders will be moved forward
– Route Closes at 6:30pm each day

• Team luggage transportation is optional and all
expenses to be covered by the team
• Society will transport two pieces of luggage per
person from each of the official start locations
• Team luggage trucks must be clearly marked with team name
• Do not accept luggage from riders not on your team
• Verify that all luggage on team truck belongs to riders on your team
• Notify Society Staff immediately if you find mystery luggage

Team Tent Rules
• Good Neighbor Policy
– Do NOT “borrow” energy / power
– Do NOT “borrow” tables/chairs/equipment/cots
• Quiet Time from 10 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.
• Do not park bikes in fire lanes or near entrances/exits in team tents
• All vehicles at Team Tents must display Team Vehicle Access Passes
(in packets-please, fill out back)
• Fire Extinguishers are required in ALL tents
• Drink responsibly

Sunday, April 17
Passenger Buses
• Departure: 11:00am to approximately 6:30pm
• Buses will depart when full
• Located at Trinity and 18th Street
• Destinations: Tully Stadium, Rhodes Stadium and Waller Stadium
Bike Trucks
• Located at 17th Street and San Jacinto (end of rider chute)
• Bike Delivery: Tully Stadium, Rhodes Stadium, and Waller Stadium
• Please note: Bicycles will arrive to destination approximately five
hours from the time the bike was loaded
• Pick up a Bike Retrieval Card provided by CGG for info on your
bike transport

Bike Compound
• Located on Brazos between 17th and 18th
• Cyclists who are not utilizing the provided bike transportation
should check bikes into the bike compound
• Safely and securely store your bike while enjoying the finish
• Rider number is required to retrieve your bike

to confirm logistics
