• The Model United Nations team at CSU Channel Islands (CI) recently garnered six top awards at two spring conferences.

• CSU Channel Islands (CI) has been named a “Tree Campus USA” for the first time by the Arbor Day Foundation. The award honors CI for its commitment to forest management and conservation and makes it one of approximately 150 institutions nationwide and the first in the 23-campus CSU system to earn the designation.

• For the fourth consecutive year, CSU Channel Islands (CI) has earned a place on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

• CSU Channel Islands’ (CI) Alumni & Friends Dodger Day event won a 2013 Award of Excellence for Alumni Relations Programs from The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

• Two CSU Channel Islands (CI) art students earned top honors for their websites at the 2012 CSU Media Arts Festival. This is the 10th consecutive year that CI students have won awards.
