The experience acquired throughout these 25 years sharing the concerns of our customers makes us rich in providing solutions, technical capacity and above all respect and prestige among the ma-jor actors of the industrial sectors.
NIASA was born in 1984 as a result of the expansion of the German group NEFF.
25 years later, NIASA designs, manu-factures and sells linear units for the manufacturing of machines mainly used for the automation of productive proc-esses.
2010 R.1
Thanks to an experienced technical de-partment, a modern R&D department and a commercial management aimed at fore-casting the market needs, we are able to provide advice on the application of our manufactured products and generate tai-lored equipments in order to bring about solutions to fulfil your needs in linear movements.
NIASA holds the ISO9001:2008 certifica-tion and therefore complies with all the essential quality control procedures which guaranty the reliability of all our manu-factured products both during the direct processes and in the auxiliary workshops.
2010 R.1
We must underline the universality of the applications and products developed by NIASA, our main customers belong to sectors such as automotives, aeronautics, railway industry, renewable energies,...etc, where quality and service are two key fac-tors.
Furthermore we rely on an international presence on the main markets of the 5 continents enabling us to provide a glo-balized service to all our customers.
A relation based on trust as well as a full collaboration with our customers enables us to keep on researching and developing our range of products.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE PRODUCT
63
NIASA Actuators are a combination of electromechani-cal linear actuators with ball screw or trapezoidal screw and the Screw Jacks.
The operation of such a combination produces the move-ment of the rod of a ending, with total control of speed and positioning . The dynamic load capacities reach 100.000N, with these features can be applied to almost any industrial automation, in which you want to move so-mething without having to force manual, pneumatic or hydraulic.

Elastic torsional couplings are designed for direct transmis-sion of torque. Dampen torsional vibrations and absorb shocks caused by erratic operation of motor elements. The couplings compensate axial, radial and angular misalign-ment in connected axes.
On demand can be provided with bores to the desired size and keyways.

Clamped coupling series RP
Clamped Couplings are well known for their capacity to absorb misalignment, high torsional rigidity and to compensate radial misalignments.
They have a low moment of inertia and are easy to assemble when used with limited space. The temperature range is bet-ween -30 º C and 100 º C

Universal joint shafts series GX have been specially desig-ned to connect the driving shafts of several Screw Jacks or Actuators HM or even with other driving units. They absorb noises, vibrations, impacts and allow angular misalignment without any special maintenance. Its central part can be removed radially without axial displacement of adjacent parts. Generally it is not necessary to mount any auxiliary supports rather than in long-distance transmissions.

When using a single screw, between the balls and the rolling po-ints there is an axial backlash. In many cases it is necessary to get rid of this backlash in order to increase positioning accura-cy and rigidity. Simply by pre-loading two ball nuts we eliminate such backlash and we reduce the axial distortion produced by the load. Pre-loading should be indicated by the customer according to the work features, although we recommend values close to 1/3 of the average load Fm. When this value is not indicated, the ball screws are supplied with a standardised pre-load equal to 10% of the dynamic load C for each assembly.
PRE-LOAD TYPES
Two types of pre-load directions are used. In the one for traction both ball screws are separated giving way to a ten-sile force on the screw. The increase in temperature reduces the pre-load. During compression, the screws get together and therefore pre-load increases as well as the screw’s tem-perature. We supply pre-loading washers cut in two parts for both types making it easier to readjust the pre-loading and thus avoiding to dismount the screw which is always a delicate operation.
Ball nut units pre-loaded
Greater washer, increases the pre-load.
Ball screw with flange KGF y and cylindrical nut KGM.. Ball screw with two cylindrical KGM nuts
Ball screw with two cylindrical KGM nuts
Smoller washer, increases the pre-load.

Properties: hard and tough material, resistant to corrosion, impacts and cavitation. High resistance to friction when operating with heavy loads, at high pressures and high speed. Applications: Friction bearings and sliding plates for high speeds and loads. Screw nuts resistant to stress. Limit switch screws, wheels and crown gear for speed reducers.
