As a world class manufacturing company Surelock McGill maintains its market leading position by continuing to design, develop and test to achieve third party certification on its products to meet and exceed the ever-changing requirements of National, European and International standards.
The Stirling is a prime example of the company's philosophy and attitude towards continual product improvement. The single point locking device has been upgraded, greatly improving the overall performance of the locking system and providing additional features - many of which have been driven by customer demands, or ever-increasing expectations of security, fire, ballistic, blast and safety standards throughout the world.
• Stainless steel H-bolt as standard creating a more robust and corrosion resistance lock which is suitable for the harshest environments
• A singular front plate which makes it easier for future change of operation, interfacing with all available Stirling actuators
• Improved heavy duty stainless steel sprung handle with additional fixing giving a stronger installation
• The plug-in cable connector (5m lead) provides easier wiring for monitoring and/or access control system connections
• Cylinder guard replaced by GSS type - preparation hole increases from 57mm to 63mm hole
• An aluminium white body with new silver anodized aluminium panic plate and push pad.
• Rim Cylinder as standard
• Stainless-steel SM branded thumb turn or rose, as applicable

STIRLING: AC850
A high performance motorised single point bolting mechanism that automatically secures upon door closure, offering security, ballistic and blast resistance in a single product. The flexible design of the product enables the lock to operate with most access control systems and is supplied with its own 24V power supply. An external key access enhancement is available in case of power failure.
The Stirling has been engineered with a common fixing footprint, enabling other alternative modules to be retro-fitted should the operational requirements change.
OPERATIONSEntry - Activating the access control, the device will unlock and automatically retract the shoot bolt. Upon door closure the bolt will automatically engage and fully secure. For fully automated operation of the locking system the Stirling should be installed with an ADO motorised door actuator.
An external mechanical key can be used to override the access control system and gain entry.
Exit - Activating the access control, the device will unlock and automatically retract all the shoot bolts. Alternatively, a single-handed means of escape is provided by either lever handle, push pad or full width panic plate. A further option of egress can be provided by a break dome and covered thumbturn.
FEATURES• Surface mounted for maximum strength • Automatic bolting upon door closure • Supplied with controller to operate the lock • 19mm x 25mm stainless-steel bolt with 25mm throw • End thrust loading over 7 times BS 3621 • Supplied with bolt & deadlock status monitoring as standard • Supplied with steel core fixings • 24V DC fail secure as standard• Motorised bolt retraction• Fully automated opening and closing of door when fitted with actuator
BENEFITS• Automatic relocking as standard• Tested on specific doorsets up to LPS 1175:SR4 • Life safety device BSEN 179/1125 compliant, CE marked • Engineered for longevity and trouble-free service • Upgrade solution for existing doors• Door securely locked when in closed position
