The responses were analyzed and the study revealed a number of common themes. This session explores the challenges revealed for infrastructure management together with conclusions on best practices from top performing organisations. Speaker Bio: Mark Swinson is the Infrastructure and Service Management Marketing Leader for the Europe. He joined IBM in 1995 and has held professional and managerial positions in Software development, Product Strategy and Management, Segment Marketing, Business Operations and Sales. During this time he has led work on a diverse range of initiatives, including Business Process Management, Service Oriented Architecture and Integrated Service Management, working with a broad set of clients in the UK and Europe. Prior to joining IBM he worked for a Systems Integrator in the Financial Services sector.
