Learning objectivesThese programs will be presented by experienced clinicians and authors in the �eld of implant dentistry and immediate function. They will discuss the critical factors necessary to provide �xed implant-supported restorations of edentulous patients. These factors are used during the initial consultation appointment as a screening mechanism to determine the possibiliy of a �xed implant restoration.
Considering the graftless approach allows for reduced treatment time, single-stage surgical reconstructions and immediate loading. This eliminates the need for transitional dentures, therefore increasing the rate of treatment acceptance by patients.
1. Pre-treatment evaluation and determination of the �nal type of �xed prosthesis.2. Prosthetic and surgical protocol in treatment of the edentulous maxilla.3. Surgical protocols for the Branemark System Zygoma implants.4. Live surgical demonstration of the Zygoma concept and immediate implants.5. Conversion of the patient’s dentures to a �xed provisional for immediate loading.6. Post-operative management of immediate-load patients.7. Final prosthetic designs and protocols.8. Long-term follow up.
